Ingenious iPhone trick: Take screenshots without buttons with iOS14
With the new iOS 14 operating system, screenshots are possible in an unusual way. Pressing physical buttons becomes completely obsolete. For this iPhone trick, you need a device from the iPhone X in addition to the current software. Then you can simply make the following setting and activate the hidden function:
iPhone Trick #1: Screenshot iOS 14 by "Tap the Back"
With iOS 14 came a new feature that allows you to perform set actions by tapping on the back of your iPhone. Not much is needed to activate the new "button" of the iPhone.
If you also select the "Screenshot" option under the "Double-tap" function and then go "Back", you can take the screenshot with iOS 14 by double-tapping the back of your device.
iPhone Trick #2: iOS 14 Screenshot via AssistiveTouch
Another way to take screenshots without buttons even under older iOS versions, but also under iOS 14, is the "AssistiveTouch" function. To do this, you first have to activate it:
- Accessibility settings > > Physical and motor > Tap > AssistiveTouch > Tap the switch to the right of it
If you want to take a screenshot with this iPhone trick, first tap the AssistiveTouch icon on your display. Then click Device > More > screenshot.
